Your Impact
As a Staff Pharmacist, you ensure the operational, regulatory, and professional services activities of the pharmacy are met in order to provide excellence in patient-centered, outcome-focused care.

What You'll Do

• Comply with Provincial Pharmacy Regulations and ensure adherence to Provincial Practice Standards and Guidelines within the pharmacy
• Follow Provincial Drug Formulary requirements and advise the Pharmacy Manager on Provincial Regulatory changes
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with privacy legislation
• Ensure compliance with NIHB claims submissions
• Ensure compliance with Store Operating Procedures as defined by the HP&S Division and maintain operational standards
• Provide patient-focused, positive outcome care while collaborating with healthcare professionals and community agencies within the district, with a strong emphasis on community education
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the community, including Healthcare Centres, Nursing Stations, and Physician Clinics
• Support community education and outreach initiatives to improve health outcomes

 What We're Looking For

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Licensed by the relevant Provincial College of Pharmacists (or eligible for licensure in Saskatchewan)
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Maintain continuing education requirements for provincial licensure
• Effective communication skills to counsel, educate, and instruct patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Community-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
• Experience with Pharmacy Software Programs; Kroll experience is considered an asset
• Highly motivated with a passion to bring our communities products and services to live better
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and relationships within the community

Location: Located within the Northern store in the community of La Loche, SK
