Your Impact
As a Staff Pharmacist, you ensure the operational, regulatory, and professional services activities of the pharmacy are met in order to provide excellence in patient-centered, outcome-focused care.
What You'll Do
- Comply with Provincial Pharmacy Regulations and ensure adherence to Provincial Practice Standards and Guidelines within the pharmacy
- Follow Provincial Drug Formulary requirements and advise the Pharmacy Manager on Provincial Regulatory changes
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with privacy legislation
- Ensure compliance with NIHB claims submissions
- Ensure compliance with Store Operating Procedures as defined by the HP&S Division and maintain operational standards
- Provide patient-focused, positive outcome care while collaborating with healthcare professionals and community agencies within the district, with a strong emphasis on community education
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the community, including Healthcare Centres, Nursing Stations, and Physician Clinics
- Support community education and outreach initiatives to improve health outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Licensed by the relevant Provincial College of Pharmacists (or eligible for licensure in Saskatchewan)
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Maintain continuing education requirements for provincial licensure
- Effective communication skills to counsel, educate, and instruct patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Community-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
- Experience with Pharmacy Software Programs; Kroll experience is considered an asset
- Highly motivated with a passion to bring our communities products and services to live better
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and relationships within the community
